Carry the sunset with you

This arty necklace is hand sawed textured copper sheet metal. The stone I purchased a few years back while vacationing a cave site. I just loved the colors on the geo slice. I was inspired to make prongs for this piece to show more of the stone. My solution made both sides look different, yet wearable on either side of the carnelian slice. Celebrating Mary with a Sterling Silver Imaged Necklace

We will be honoring our Blessed Mother this week. Today’s piece: Hand twisted Sterling silver wire Image necklace of Mary. This piece is one of my all time favorites (a special friend owns it). I love the gentle look on her face and the way the stones are hand knotted in the silk cord. This piece would always invite a passerby to stop and comment on the piece – and yes opening a door for conversation about our Blessed Mother.
