Where is which ever way.... you pick!

A unique brass hammered clasp necklace w beading and mixed textiles. Enjoy!

This piece has many appealing vantage points - it can be worn almost any direction with the focal point changing to customize the outfit. The brass metal piece was hand sawed and then hand textured with special faced hammer giving the triangle images. All the wire work was hand crafted including the jump rings. I liked the whimsical ribbon in contract to the wired clear beading. Looks incredible on - great edgy arty piece to dress up an outfit. I think my favorite part of the piece is the clasp. Enjoy!!

HAPPY OCTOBER!! E-yelet you in on a secret...

Now the tedious part of putting the eyelets on the bracelet and finger rosary. The eyelet is the cold connection that holds frame work together which in turns houses the picture(s). This process is a little taxing on the eyes. Enjoy!

Two for one... projects

While I was creating a bracelet for my friend I simutaneously worked on finger rosaries as well to give to each of the daughters (and wife)... here the metal pieces are cut out and ready for filing and sanding.
Enjoy!!

Add the pictures!

Now the pictures get placed to make sure the framing is perfect. The finger rosary are hearts w pictures of their dad and daughter and of course one w husband and wife. On the back of the rosary a message is hand stamped asking for prayers. The family gift, a bracelet, has the same pictures w a family  picture in the middle. Enjoy!

Texture on Top

Now the metal is cut out and matched up. I have oval cut out for the images and heart cut out to connect them. The two pieces of metal will be riveted together. Enjoy!

Now that the metal is textured with symbols and words it is time to cut the shapes - each frame needs two sets of sheet metal, front and back. Enjoy!

POUND IT OUT!

Okay so this requires a lot of pounding front and back - when you texture w the stamps it actually pushes and moves the metal which in turn makes it curve. To counteract the the curve you need to flatten out with a leather mallet to not mare the metal. Enjoy!

In the Buff - ing stage

Now that the sides are filed and buffed. (Trust me after sanding the sides your hands are fairly roughed up) Now you sand and buff the surfaces of the medallions to make them extremely smoothly and shiny on raised texture. Sanding and buffing take a bit of time, but well worth the outcome. Enjoy! www.AgapeGifts.org

Tedious work begins....

Every square's side that was cut now needs to be hand sanded. This is a bit time consuming BUT it gives it a professional finished look. That is the goal right? Enjoy!! WWW.AgapeGifts.org

Little bits

After all the squares have been cut I then embossed them ending up with lots of little metal confetti. Enjoy! www.AgapeGifts.org

Angels watching over me

Brass Angel image earrings. This is one of my favorite angel pictures. I like the settle imagery on the metal - almost ghost like. From far away it looks like scrolls but when examing it close up you definitely see the angel's face. Angels watching over whoever wears them. This piece is available - check out our website for other gift giving ideas - perfect for Christmas! www.Agapegifts.org

Thank you Jesus - for Mary!

love this picture - you can see Mary is so thankful for Jesus! These earrings were a challenge to make. I had the idea in my head but execution was tricky; in the end I think I triumphed. I love the sweet image of Mary and Jesus. The back side is also rather interesting. I try to make both sides eye appealing. I am really enjoying the metal work - as you can see on my new pieces. CONGRATS TO PATRICIA D - for winning these earrings! I am sorry for those who did not get their names drawn, but there is always next year!
Try to make it out to Sacred Heart of the Hills for the December 1 & 2 for their Chrismtas fair - we will be there!
