LOOKY HERE!!

The Agape Gift Gala Game - Guess the Gift REVEALED
So what do you think? Is it what you thought it was going to look like? It is compromised of textured mixed metals; brass, copper, nickel and aluminium held together w rivets (husband's favorite cold connect). The textiles are leather and metallic sequined hand corded yarn. Pretty cool, uh? I was very pleased with the outcome!
Enjoy!!

Punching and Sanding

Lots of pieces of metal need many small little tiny holes and lots of sanding! The sanding helps with a nice finish in the end... it may be messy but worth it. Enjoy!

OK let's get the process moving!!!!

I first figured the shape and design of the metal; figuring which type of metal combinations. I knew I wanted pictures to reflect the family lost but more importantly the love they all shared. Each part of the bracelet has a significant meaning. Nothing arbitary - all thought driven. Enjoy!

Thank you Jesus - for Mary!

love this picture - you can see Mary is so thankful for Jesus! These earrings were a challenge to make. I had the idea in my head but execution was tricky; in the end I think I triumphed. I love the sweet image of Mary and Jesus. The back side is also rather interesting. I try to make both sides eye appealing. I am really enjoying the metal work - as you can see on my new pieces. engineering earrings?

I was very excited when these earrings fell into place - literally. I was placing different pieces of metal to get a feel for the design and poof - inspiration occurred! I am very excited about how I executed the design. Just to let you in a little secret... I enjoy the problem solving on how to execute the design as much as creating it. It is exhilarating to make a vision come to life with new engineering ideas. This piece is available. If you would like this piece, a similar piece, or any unique piece of jewelry; contact us!
