After sanding the edges, again to ensure they are smooth, then the two pieces of metal are match up including the hole punches. The eyelets are added and then the picture is placed in the opening.

This is done six times for the bracelet and once for each of the four finger rosaries.

Punching and Sanding

Lots of pieces of metal need many small little tiny holes and lots of sanding! The sanding helps with a nice finish in the end... it may be messy but worth it. Enjoy!

Look at yourself!

The process today was to get a mirror finish on the copper. So when a person looked onto the piece they would see their own reflection (explanation later). I did not get pictures of the sanding and buffing needed to get the mirrored surface. It is a multi layer processing - 20 step process. BUT I got it! Enjoy!

In the Buff - ing stage

Now that the sides are filed and buffed. (Trust me after sanding the sides your hands are fairly roughed up) Now you sand and buff the surfaces of the medallions to make them extremely smoothly and shiny on raised texture. Tedious work begins....
