LOOKY HERE!!

The Agape Gift Gala Game - Guess the Gift REVEALED
So what do you think? Is it what you thought it was going to look like? It is compromised of textured mixed metals; brass, copper, nickel and aluminium held together w rivets (husband's favorite cold connect). The textiles are leather and metallic sequined hand corded yarn. Pretty cool, uh? I was very pleased with the outcome!
Enjoy!!

Dah Da!! It's finish and over the pond!

Happy Fall everyone - and I am sorry that I forgot to post yesterday w the finished art work... sorry - crazy day got away from me. :/ Here is the final piece completely put together... this special piece was made for my pen pal in England to whom we have been writing since 1974. I was beyond excited to give it to her when I met up with Debbie and her family in August. Great memories! Enjoy!!

Stamp it all out!

I get a little focused when working so I don't have images of stamping out the lettering or riveting the copper and brass piece together. But here is is lettered and riveted. The words say US 1974 England. The trick is to get the lettering centered, in this case and the rivets tight! Enjoy!

Want some Attention?

Good Monday Morning Everyone!! As many know, I love purple, and of course I couldn't pass up a purple geo slice! I loved the shapes in this stone and tried to saw the brass metal sheet to mimic the organic shape. I painted the hand textured brass metal to show up the hammering marks which compliments the purple stone. I also used rivets for the bail which is subtle since the prongs in this piece are cut metal tabs. I really wanted a festive mixture of color for the textile. This piece is definitely edgy! Enjoy! This piece is available! www.AgapeGifts.org
