Getting ready for Divine Mercy Sunday!!

The memory last longer...

Here the bracelet is shown complete. The center image has a historial family picture of when the girls were young; on the back a picture of the decease only for the wife to know its there. Lots of special hidden messages throughout the bracelet just for her to know and treasurer. Love this family...  May Tom rest in peace; and the family be warmed by God's love. Enjoy!

Cold Connect!!

 

 

After sanding the edges, again to ensure they are smooth, then the two pieces of metal are match up including the hole punches. The eyelets are added and then the picture is placed in the opening.

This is done six times for the bracelet and once for each of the four finger rosaries.

POUND IT OUT!

 

Okay so this requires a lot of pounding front and back - when you texture w the stamps it actually pushes and moves the metal which in turn makes it curve. To counteract the the curve you need to flatten out with a leather mallet to not mare the metal. Enjoy!

Happy Easter Friday! This is one of my favorite pieces. I love the hand textured metal work w the interior layering of the shapes. The soft purple satin ribbons intertwined with the metal gives it a unique look. Wonderful color combination for the spring time. Good Monday Morning Everyone!! As many know, I love purple, and of course I couldn't pass up a purple geo slice! I loved the shapes in this stone and tried to saw the brass metal sheet to mimic the organic shape. I painted the hand textured brass metal to show up the hammering marks which compliments the purple stone. I also used rivets for the bail which is subtle since the prongs in this piece are cut metal tabs. I really wanted a festive mixture of color for the textile. This piece is definitely edgy! Enjoy! happy 12 12 12 - once in a life time day for the next 100 years!! They should call this day donut day - a dozen donuts seems to fit the date!!!
